Synopsis:
For the first seventeen years of her life, Qing Yanrou cared about only two things: cultivation and ghost catching; and taking care of her grandfather.
But her biological father, who suddenly appeared halfway through her life, accused her of being heartless and unworthy of being his daughter, while her half-sister tearfully claimed she had stolen her man.
Qing Yanrou: What?
All she wanted to say was that in this life, she had only two family members: her deceased mother and her elderly grandfather. As for the others, where did they get the nerve to claim kinship?
And a man?
What man?
Don’t talk nonsense—from beginning to end, she only ever had one man!
When a certain someone heard she had a “wild man,” he abandoned his meeting and pinned her down in the restroom, his gaze fierce but his tone aggrieved as he said, “You actually have another wild man behind my back?” With that, he vented his frustration by kissing those tempting red lips.
The outside world spread rumors that the CEO of Yunchuan Technology had a beautiful wife, which made him clock in and out punctually from nine to five every day. The company employees never worked overtime, so they collectively regarded their boss’s wife as an angel.
But they didn’t know that their CEO not only had to personally go to his wife’s school to assert his dominance but also had to accompany her to remote mountains and forests after work to catch ghosts and subdue demons.
